Greetings All

Greetings in the Perfect name of Jesus Christ!
I have to admit that I have a terrible time remembering scripture chapter and verse. Recently I acquired an E-reader, so I downloaded a KJV bible. Now I will have it with me nearly everywhere. Having God's word with you is important. Psalm 119:11 says, "I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you." Keeping the word of God with you helps keep you from sinning, as well as being able to offer it to those in need!

May God richly bless you my beloved!

Greetings All

This morning we wake up to a fresh blanket of snow, over a foot deep! No matter, soon we will be going along our way, but with a new landscape! It'll stay white for a few months, and then things will begin to blossom and grow until the full majesty of Spring is revealed. So it is when we turn our lives over to Christ and accept His salvation gift. We are washed from our sins and made white as new snow, then ,as we go along our way with Christ, we begin to blossom and grow, until the full majesty of Christ is revealed. It is a constant and fulfilling journey! Remember to thank Him!

Greetings All

Wow, have I really not posted since April?!?!? Unbelievable!
I'd like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Some people view the New Year as a chance to start over, a brand new chance to make things right! Friends, God did that for us just a couple thousand years ago when Jesus died on that cross! From that point on we have a chance to renew our lives every single minute of every single day! You don't have to wait until the New Year to do it! God is ready to help you right now! If you acknowledge Him, admit you are a sinner (we ALL are), and accept His gift of salvation, then you can begin that renewed life today!
Now is the time to worship!
May God Richly Bless You My Beloved!

(If you know an unbeliever, please forward this posting. Thank You.)

Greetings All

Greetings in the Refreshing Name of Jesus Christ,
Well, Spring is finally upon us, and our little patch of the world is being renewed with growth after the long, dark hours of Winter. It was after a long, dark spell that we, too, were renewed. Christ had suffered the indignities of a fixed-up trial, a scourging, berating, and finally crucifixion. How dark it was indeed. All was lost to so many that loved and followed him. But then, renewal! Three long days of darkness and Christ arises to prove that the renewal He promised us was indeed upon us; we need only accept it! Have you? Live in eternal Spring!

2 Corinthians 5:17 - "Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."

Psalm 145:21 - "My mouth will speak in praise of the Lord. Let every creature praise his holy name for ever and ever."

Greetings in the Precious Name of Jesus Christ!
What do we really need in life? Recently I was speaking with friends about the importance of material possessions, or, more accurately, the lack of importance. Of course, I only discovered this after I became unemcombered. There are many examples of ridding oneself of material burdens in the bible. One in particular was a man who wanted to follow Christ. "What must I do?" inquired the man. Christ replied, "Sell all you own and give it to the poor.' The man, being very wealthy, could not part with his belongings. In the Hindu world, living life with no possessions is the ultimate in worship. I can tell you that it is a cleansing accomplishment, both mentally and spiritually!

Greetings in the Uplifting Name of Jesus Christ!
Is life bringing you down? Got creditors hounding you? Looking surgery in the eye? Lose your job this week? Got cabin fever? Let me make a suggestion, if I may. Pray! There is no better way to lift your spirit (literally) than having a conversation with God, your Father! Did I say conversation? You bet I did! Prayer does not always have to be the formal structure we all learned as youngsters! God is your Father and He wants you to talk to him; to tell Him your troubles. Try this, put two chairs side by each. One for you, and one for God! Have a seat...and talk. you'll be surprised, and blessed, by the response! You will be uplifted!

Phillipians 4:6 "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."

Greetings in the Steadfast Name of Jesus Christ,
In 1 Samuel 23 we see the future king, David, running from his would be killer, King Saul. He manages to evade Saul, and even has the opportunity to kill him at one point, but doesn't! God kept David safe from Saul's pursuit by sending him an unlikely allie, Saul's son Jonathan! David put his faith in God first, above all else, and God 'had his back'. Are you facing undaunting enemies? They might be creditors, bosses, co-workers, family members, or shop owners who are just plain awful! Remember, keep them in prayer and push on, God has your back!

1 Samuel 23:16 "And Saul's son Jonathan went to David at Horesh and helped him find strength in God."

Greetings in the Joyful Name of Jesus Christ!
Last night I attended a music jam, as I do every other Friday night. The thing about this group is we are all rank amateurs, so no one judges. In fact, I think we have a great deal of fun encouraging each other to continue in spite of our selves! So it should be with each other as believers. We come together for the glory of God, not for our own glory, therefore we should not judge one another on our performance as a believer, but rather we should encourage each other. That action can make a difference as to whether or not we improve down the road!

Greetings in the Sustaining Name of Jesus Christ!
By now we have all read about the destruction in Haiti. Let's be sure to pray for those people affected directly, as well as those who have gone to Haiti to help out! That is no small task, and rescuers will be seeing things no one should have to see. Eventually, time will pass and life will go on, but hopefully more believers will emerge. We all remember the tsunami devastation in 2004; yet it would be hard to see any remnants of it today. All this to say that through it all, Christ is there waiting to be called upon.
May God Richly Bless You All.

Well, here we are at the end of the first week in the New Year! Has it been a trial? Rejoice! God's word says we should rejoice in our trials because we then see Christ working in our lives! Trials strengthen our trust in the Lord! When you are in the midst of a trial, remember the "3 T's"; Trials Teaches Trust!
Proverbs 3:5 "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not into thine own understanding."

Greetings in the Name of Christ!
Well, here we are in a new year, again. It doesn't feel any different than the last year. We still have the same responsibilities to God and our fellow man! Let's start this new year remembering our orders. Love God with all your heart, and love others as He loves us! No small duty to be sure, and it will take all year to fulfill, then the next year, and the next....
May God richly Bless You All
